Future Atlas Radio (FAR) is very different from most every other radio station programming, either terrestrial or on the internet. We describe what we do as “Music From The Past, The Present And The Future”.
As you know, most radio stations and their programs are about specific types of music…classic rock, reggae, jazz, alternative and the like. We play music from a huge swath of musical genres from Afoxe Brazilian music to Zulu Jive from South Africa…and an incredible variety in between. Elsewhere, you will hear The Best of the 80’s, 90’s and so forth. We play the best music in many genres from the 50’s up to, well, tomorrow. Much of it, you may never have heard before but now will be elated that you have! We play music in well over 30 different languages.
We play original songs, remixes, mash-ups and mixes of our own creation. We also feature occasional “spoken word” songs and readings.
Thank you for joining us on this incredible musical voyage from neighborhoods around the world into joyous realms of the unknown. This includes a lot of “local music”…music that you make, wherever you may be. Remembering that it is truly people, and their music, that make the world go 'round!!
